We are giddy to be able to provide workshops by both Elissa Callen and Christopher Hobbs, both of whom are quite talented in their respective fields and particularly interesting!

Christopher Hobbs, PhD, is a mycologist, an herbal clinician, a botanist, and a research scientist with over 40 years of experience in herbal medicine. He has authored over 20 books and is willing to share some of his knowledge of medicinal mushrooms with us during a workshop. This workshop will occur on Saturday Morning and will require registration to attend the event.

Elissa Callen will be joining us from California where she works with native plants, invasive plants, and fungi to sustainably make natural dyes, inks, and pigments in her art practice. Elissa will be providing a workshop on using wild fungi as a natural dye. This is an exciting opportunity to get hands on experience and learn how to use local fungi got dyeing material.
