With the recent rains the mushrooms are popping, and we are celebrating with a couple snap forays planned for this weekend!

Registration is now open for small group snap forays on Saturday, August 10 and Sunday, August 11th. 

Summer forays are a valuable opportunity to learn about our local funga. While edibles are likely to be found the goal of the forays is education. This is an opportunity to learn in person from knowledgeable local fungi enthusiasts about our local mushrooms, identifying characteristics, and what to look for when searching out our fungal friends.

Please only register if you are certain you are able to attend the foray. AMS members in good standing will be able to register themselves and one guest, which can be someone in your membership bundle or a non-AMS member.

Those who register successfully will receive an e-mail with the meet-up location and time. Please make sure to check your spam folder if you do not receive an e-mail. If registration is full, you can join the waitlist.
